Parent’s Committee Meeting

April 13, 2004

The meeting was called to order at 7:45 by Committee Chair Shawn Sather.

Attendance: Shawn Sather, Randy Miller, Doug Wollen, Lori Healy, Debbie Dubay, Steven Zobrist, Fred Schirmer, Carol Ham, Kevin Robertson, Joell Nylund, Mike Tokin, Art Anderson, and Nancy Parrish.

Treasurer’s Report: Discussed current treasurer’s report. Shawn Sather called for approval, Carol Ham seconded, and was approved.

Committee Reports:

· Scouting for Food went well.

· Mom and Me- need more boys for staffing

· Super Outing- 44 total people going

· FOS- Raised $5,000 and met our goal. Cloth patches are free for the year.

· Washjam- 5 boys signed up and 1 paid. Deadline will be May 25^th for first round of registrations.

· Buck Creek outing moved to April 24 and 25 not April 19.

· Scarf- Hutch has silkscreen. Should be up and running in a couple of weeks.

· Youth Protection- Nancy Parrish will chair. Shawn looking for videos. Need to schedule viewing. Parents see it first for approval. Needs to be done in next 2-3 months.

· Insurance- change of company? Health and Safety $1.50pp

· Change of web site host with Kevin Roberts. $5.00 per month for hosting. Would add e-mail for Scoutmaster, treasurer, etc. Voted on and approved.

Scoutmaster Report:

Planning Pre-Tyke and Tyke hike.

If anyone need a Campership it needs to be sent in now.

Wood Cutting on May 1, 2004 at 8:00am $150.00 per cord.
