- There has been more income than expenses over the last couple of months and as a result, our balance is in considerably good shape.  Lori will begin working on the planning for 2004 budget.  Will try to distribute for review prior to a parent’s meeting for approval.  Arthur Pinkers motioned to accept the report, Rand Miller seconded and the report was unanimously accepted.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Summer Camp – Has been scheduled at Camp Parsons for July 4-9.  Camperships are available for assistance to families that have a need and are interested.  See John Monday or Kent Brooten.
Uniforms-.Randy is going to do an inventory. .
Woodcutting – It was reported that we sold $600.00 of wood that has been delivered but the money has not yet been collected.  We have another order for $150.00 that has not yet been delivered.  We still have around 10-12 cords that are available for sale.  Cost is $150.00/cord.
Advancement – Advancements have been minimal for the last quarter. About 7 advancements and 4 merit badges but the upcoming merit badge clinic will most likely produce some additional awards.
Uniforms – There is currently a pretty good stock of uniforms available in the storage room.  See Randy Miller if you have any questions.
Friends of Scouting – Art Anderson will be the FOS chair this year.  He will be conducting a kickoff at the next Court of Honor.
Youth Protection – Arthur Pinkers is getting a copy of the tape that is to be shown to the youth.  Adults need to be trained also.  We will schedule another session in the near future.
Welcoming Committee – John Monday reported that the committee is working to improve the process and the handbook.
Roundtable Report – Arthur Pinkers tries to attend each month.  He did report that troop boxes aren’t “stuffed” anymore, so if participants go be sure to check the table for information.  Roundtable is a good opportunity for Supplemental Training information and anyone who is interested is encouraged to attend.  Contact Arthur for more information.
Website– Hutch is doing a FAQ section for the website.  This is part of his Woodbadge requirement.  If you have suggestions on a good topic for this area, please send your suggestions to Dave Hutchinson.
