COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Advancement- Art Anderson is leading the advancement committee.  Ken Wright asked for his name to be removed since Art is doing such a great job.
Summer Camp – We need additional adult volunteers to attend summer camp.  They are welcome to come for the entire week or for a portion of the week.  Currently we have 2 adults that have volunteered to attend for the entire week.  We need 3 others for all or part of the week.
Uniforms-. There is a stock of uniforms available in the storage area, mainly smaller sizes.  Randy is going to do an inventory.  We are in need of some medium size shirts.
Woodcutting – We have 8 or 9 cords of wood from Camp Brinkley sitting at Kent’s.  We will need to schedule a work day to cut and split the wood.
Friends of Scouting – We met our goal for this year’s campaign thanks to our new District Executive, Jason McPherson.  Jason called past donors for our troop and obtained enough contributions to reach our troop’s goal. Debbie Dubay will call Jason and check on obtaining our awards.
Scouting for Food – Complete for this year.  No new report.
Youth Protection – We will be sending out a notification of specific details on upcoming Youth Protection training.

SCOUTMASTERS REPORT:
Kent addressed the following topics:
-We are needing a new stock of neckerchiefs.  Kent is suggesting that we purchase the silk screens so that we can print our own.  We are looking for a volunteer that will look into purchasing the silk screens and understand the process of making them.  Lori moved that if we can purchase the equipment to provide our own silk screen for $125.00 we proceed.  Arthur Pinkers seconded and everyone agreed.  We will also need someone to surge the edges of the neckerchiefs once they are silk screened.
- Kent has postponed the Rainer Climb until September.
- Kent asked that we look at rescheduling the August Court of Honor until after the 50 miler.  It has been scheduled for September 9’th.
