Parent's Committee Meeting
10 December 2002
The meeting was called to order at 7:42 P.M. by co-chair Shawn Sather
ATTENDANCE: Pete Logar, Doug Wollen, Arthur Pinkers, Shawn Sather, Randy Miller, Lori Healy Greg Cannon, David Hutchinson, Cheryl Brooten, John Monday, Doug Hubbard and Carl Prichard
MINUTES: Arthur Pinkers moved to accept the October meeting minutes. Randy Miller seconded and they were accepted.
TREASURERS REPORT: Lori Healy presented the treasures report with discussion including the following items: Wood Cutting, mountaineers deposit, registration of 67 boys and 27 adults @ $10 per person. The treasures report was approved by Author Pinkers and seconded by Randy Miller. Additional items discussed were the Friends of Scouting shortfall and a possible buy out to reach our troop goal set by the council. Troop support is due by 12-17-02 of $30 per scout. All reimbursements must have receipts.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Wood Cutting-$150 wet, $175 dry per cord (stacking fee
to be determined)
Friends of Scouting-Information forthcoming
Scouting
for Food-Information forthcoming
Outings-Several Outings coming up check the
activity book. Remember to email Mr. Brooten, Mr. De Jong and fill out a page
for the activity book on any outings a scout is planning.
Adult Leader
Training- There will be training January 7, 2003 7:00 @ the church
Troop
Website- need updates on meeting plans from scribe, patrol leaders must pass
information to their patrols.
REPORTS ON OUTINGS:
JLT-14 boys attended, good outing will do again in
the spring
HOME-only 11-12 homeless attended
SCOUTMASTER'S REPORT
Crater Lake to be scheduled in April, possible troop
picnic this summer, polar bear swim January 1 @ noon. Remember to email Mr.
Brooten outing/activity information so he can let the troop also know
Meeting was adjourned at 8:42, the next meeting will be January 14th @ 7:30
